Linda Klümpen geb. Jakobs



 I am currently a PhD student at Institute of Nutritional and Food Science under supervision of Jun. Prof. Dr. Marie-Christine Simon.
   I am interested in in the impact of the intestinal microbiome and their metabolites on the link between nutrition and cognition in humans (“gut-brain-axis”). I am currently conducting a randomised, controlled dietary intervention study to investigate the effects of an intensive oat intake for two days and a moderate oat intake for six weeks on the gut microbiome, the metabolism, and the cognitive function in participants with metabolic syndrome.
